Application Tracking

Check Your Application Status

Stay informed about the progress of your UK Electronic Travel Authorisation application at every stage of the process.

How Application Tracking Works

After submitting your UK ETA application through our service, you will receive a confirmation email containing your unique application reference number. This reference number is your key to tracking the progress of your application from submission through to a final decision. Keep this reference number in a safe place, as you will need it to access your application status.

Our tracking system provides updates on the status of your application as information becomes available from the processing authorities. Please note that application processing is carried out by the UK Government, and timeframes may vary depending on application volumes and individual circumstances. We relay status information as it is received and aim to keep you informed at every stage.

You can check your application status at any time by logging into your account using the email address and reference number you provided during the application process. Status updates are also sent to your registered email address whenever there is a significant change in your application's progress.

Application Status Stages

Your application will move through several stages during processing. Understanding these stages helps you know what to expect and when you might need to take action:

Submitted

Your application has been successfully submitted and is awaiting processing. At this stage, no action is required from you. You should have received a confirmation email with your reference number. If you have not received this email, check your spam folder or contact our support team.

Under Review

Your application has entered the processing queue and is being reviewed by UK authorities. This includes verification of your personal details, passport information, and travel plans. The duration of this stage can vary depending on the volume of applications being processed at the time.

Security Checks

Your application is undergoing standard security checks. All ETA applications go through this stage — it is a routine part of the process and does not necessarily indicate any issue with your application. Security checks may take additional time depending on individual circumstances.

Additional Information Required

The processing authorities have requested further information or documentation to support your application. You will receive an email with specific details about what is needed. It is important to respond to these requests as quickly and thoroughly as possible to avoid further delays in processing.

Decision Pending

All reviews and checks have been completed, and your application is awaiting a final decision. This stage is typically brief, and you should receive notification of the outcome shortly.

Decision Made

A final decision has been reached on your application. You will be notified of the outcome via email and through your account dashboard. If approved, your ETA is automatically linked to your passport — there is nothing to print or carry.

How to Check Your Status

There are two ways to check the current status of your UK ETA application:

Online Account

Log in to your ETA UK CENTER account using the email address you provided during the application process and your reference number. Your application status is displayed on your dashboard and is updated in real time as new information becomes available.

Email Notifications

We send automatic email notifications whenever your application status changes. These emails are sent to the address you registered during the application process. Make sure to check your spam or junk folder if you are not seeing updates in your inbox.

When to Check Your Status

We recommend checking your application status if you have not received any communication within a reasonable timeframe after submission. For most applications, initial status updates are available within a few working days. If you submitted your application recently, please allow adequate time for it to be processed before making enquiries about its status.

During peak travel periods, processing may take longer than usual. If your travel date is approaching and you have not yet received a decision, we recommend contacting our support team for guidance on your options.

Common Tracking Issues

Below are some common issues that applicants encounter when trying to track their application, along with solutions:

Reference number not recognised — ensure you are entering the exact reference number from your confirmation email, including any dashes, letters, or special characters. The reference number is case-sensitive.
Status has not changed for several days — processing times can vary. If your status has not changed for an extended period and your travel date is approaching, contact our support team for assistance and guidance.
Confirmation email not received — check your spam, junk, and promotions folders thoroughly. If still not found, contact our support team with your full name and the email address you used during the application.
Cannot log in to your account — ensure you are using the same email address you registered with during the application. If you have forgotten your login details, use the account recovery option or contact support.
Multiple applications showing — if you accidentally submitted more than one application, ensure you are tracking the most recent one. Contact support to resolve any duplicate submissions.
Status shows 'Additional Information Required' but no email received — check all your email folders including spam. If you still cannot find the request, contact support immediately as delayed responses may affect processing.

After You Receive a Decision

Once a decision has been made on your UK ETA application, you will receive an email notification with the outcome. If your application is approved, your ETA is electronically linked to your passport and is valid for travel to the United Kingdom. There is no physical document to print or carry — border officials will verify your ETA status using your passport details.

If your application is not approved, the notification will include information about the reasons for the decision and any available options. Our support team can assist with enquiries about next steps if your application is unsuccessful.
