Track Status

The present article administers the protocol governing the validation of compliance and ascertainment of the disposition of a previously submitted declaration. Status adjudication is conducted exclusively through the authenticated Applicant Portal.

Ref: GB-ETA-STAT-18-2026

Procedural Access

Subsequent to the discharge of the administrative levy and successful transmission of the declaration instrument, The Declarant is conferred authenticated access to the Applicant Portal, through which the disposition of the submission may be ascertained on a continuous basis.

Access credentials are transmitted to the electronic correspondence address declared during Phase II of the declaration instrument. The Declarant is required to maintain the integrity of such credentials and shall not effect their onward transmission to any third party.

Designations of Disposition

The disposition of the submission shall be designated by reference to one of the following statutory categories. The Declarant is to validate compliance having regard to the prevailing designation.

Designation Interpretation Required Conduct
Pending The submission is currently the subject of adjudicative review. No conduct required. Await disposition.
Supplementary Information Requested The competent authority requires further documentary submission. Discharge the supplementary instrument within the stipulated interval.
Issued The Authorisation Credential has been electronically associated with the travel document. Retain notification for presentation to the conveying carrier.
Refused The submission has been the subject of administrative refusal. Recourse may be had to the competent authority. ETA UK Center does not adjudicate refusals.
Withdrawn The submission has been voluntarily annulled by the Declarant. Resubmission of a fresh declaration is required.
Expired The validity period of the Authorisation Credential has elapsed. Submission of a new declaration instrument is required.

Notification Protocol

Upon the conclusive adjudication of the submission, an electronic notification shall be discharged to the correspondence address declared during Phase II. The notification shall constitute the operative instrument of communication and shall enumerate the disposition, the validity interval (where applicable), and any supplementary directives.

  • Primary notification — designated electronic correspondence address.
  • Secondary record — Applicant Portal disposition register.
  • Documentary archive — retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Notice · Validation Cadence
The Declarant is advised to validate the disposition no fewer than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the anticipated date of embarkation, irrespective of receipt of electronic notification. Failure of receipt does not derogate from the obligation to ascertain the prevailing disposition.

Reference Particulars

For the purpose of status adjudication, the Declarant shall be in possession of the following reference particulars, as previously transmitted upon submission of the declaration instrument:

  • Declaration Reference Number (format: GB-ETA-XXXXXXXX).
  • Travel document number, transcribed verbatim from the machine-readable zone.
  • Declarant date of birth, in ISO 8601 format.
[Official Advisory · Carrier Verification]
Conveying carriers conduct an independent validation of the Authorisation Credential at the point of embarkation. Production of an electronic notification absent positive validation of the underlying credential shall not be deemed sufficient. The Declarant assumes sole responsibility for the ascertainment of a positive disposition prior to embarkation.
