United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorisation

The Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) constitutes a pre-entry regulatory instrument required of designated foreign nationals prior to embarkation toward the territory of the United Kingdom. The present portal administers the procedural facilitation of the declarant's submission, in accordance with prevailing entry regulations.

The Applicant is required to ensure that the entry documentation corresponds to the designated travel purpose. Authorisation Credentials issued through the present portal facilitate short-term admission for tourism, transit, business engagement, and approved study under six (6) months, in accordance with regulations.

    A valid travel document, biographic particulars transcribed from the machine-readable zone, itinerary particulars, an electronic correspondence address, and an approved payment instrument.
  3. Q.03 What are the indicative adjudication intervals?+
    Ordinary administrative throughput is up to 72 hours. The competent authority retains discretion to extend the interval where supplementary review is necessitated.
  4. Q.04 May the declaration be modified subsequent to submission?+
    Permitted fields may be amended prior to the conclusion of adjudication. Substantive particulars require withdrawal and resubmission.
