Ref: GB-ETA-WDR-20-2026
[Irrevocability]
Upon transmission of the withdrawal instrument and electronic acknowledgement thereof, the underlying submission shall be conclusively annulled. The annulled submission shall not be reinstated, and any subsequent intention to obtain the Authorisation Credential shall require the commencement of a fresh declaration instrument in the prescribed manner.

  • The submission has not been the subject of conclusive adjudication.

  • No supplementary documentary instrument is presently the subject of review.
  • The withdrawal request originates from the original Declarant or duly authorised representative.

Procedural Sequence

  1. The Declarant accesses the Applicant Portal via authenticated credentials.
  2. The declaration is selected from the disposition register.
  3. The withdrawal instrument is rendered, requiring acknowledgement of irrevocability.
  4. Electronic acknowledgement is transmitted to the designated correspondence address.
  5. Adjudication of any restitution is commenced in accordance with Article 20.4.

Procedural Inadmissibility

Withdrawal is procedurally inadmissible in any of the following circumstances. In such instance, the Declarant shall have recourse exclusively to the competent sovereign authority:

  • The submission has been the subject of administrative refusal.
  • The submission has been the subject of revocation by the competent authority.
  • The territory of the United Kingdom has been entered upon the underlying credential.

Refund Adjudication

Withdrawal effected prior to the commencement of adjudication may give rise to partial restitution of the administrative processing remuneration in accordance with the Refund Policy. The statutory fee remitted to the competent sovereign authority is non-refundable irrespective of the disposition of the withdrawal request.

Phase of Withdrawal Indicative Restitution
Prior to commencement of adjudication Restitution of administrative processing remuneration.
During adjudication Restitution adjudicated on a discretionary basis.
Subsequent to issuance or refusal No restitution. Procedurally inadmissible.
